Watercolor
The fruit, background fabric, and book in this work suggest Summer. The painter Sorolla was a master of beach scenes and warm seasonal light. This painting is a tribute to him. I challenged myself with the inclusion of his work, along with the many textural and reflective objects. This painting was included in the San Diego International Watercolor Exhibition in 2013.
